General
The Global Expertise Teams (GETs) are cross-regional teams that focus on knowledge development and the linking and learning throughout the network for the four different intervention levels: Good Practices, Supportive Business Ecosystems, Enabling Policy Environment and Market Uptake. They are supported by communities of practitioners organized around commodity value chains like palm oil or or coffee and thematic issues like labour or fair value distribution. This structure is network-wide and goes beyond the specific programmes. The GET on Market Uptake worked with Acumen on the success factors of cooperating with global brands. In collaboration with the Candian company Decision Lab, this GET team implemented an (unpublished) research on farmer rewards for change. With the NGO IMPACT, the GET MU supported the design and development of Solidaridad?s global digital solutions for market actors Ping! and Esawa.
